Glad it wasn't the chicken that laid you low in the first place! Any idea what did?

Congee is an excellent way to eat the "R" part of the BRAT diet.

Wonderful to have you back Lindy! Anything that has chicken broth in it screams nourishing and comfort, I wish I was close by enough to bring you some! Take care!

How awful to have something bad enough to land you in the hospital. I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Chicken broth does seem to have amazing restorative powers.

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you're okay! I went through a similar thing last summer and it was NOT fun. I don't even want to think about it. But I'm really glad you're back and I think your broth, chicken and veggies look delicious and very nourishing!

The platter of chicken and veggies definitely appeals to me...

Healing wishes coming your way!

Just got over something similar {in Pittsburgh] Pharmacy suggested Gatorade to keep from getting dehydrated. Tapioca pudding is my perfect first food after being sick. Hope you are better and will never need these suggestions. Cheers from Brentwood.

I like to use Stephanie’s Seasoning Salt on my chicken and veggies, it is all-natural and all-purpose. Also no fillers, caking agents, sugars and MSG. A lot more flavors to pick from.
